Joris Voorn - Zurich Street Parade - ARTE Concert

Amsterdam est volontiers considérée comme la capitale mondiale de la techno et Joris Voorn en est le flambeau. Évoluant à l’épicentre de la scène electro de son pays, il compte en outre parmi les artistes néerlandais les plus acclamés à l’international. Tenant indéfectible d’une techno de qualité, ce perfectionniste est aussi un héraut de la house de demain.

Artiste néerlandais parmi les plus connus, Joris Voorn est une figure reconnaissable entre mille de l’underground planétaire tendance house et techno. Avec à peine dix-sept millions d’habitants, la contribution des Pays-Bas à la scène electro globale n’en est pas moins inégalée. Si le berceau de la house et de la techno se situe du côté de l’underground américain, marginal et essentiellement noir, c’est pourtant un petit pays du littoral européen qui est venu bouleverser les musiques électroniques au point d’en devenir la force motrice. Voilà quelques années déjà qu’Amsterdam est la capitale mondiale du genre. Et parmi ses enfants les plus illustres, Joris Voorn est peut-être bien celui qui incarne le mieux le melting-pot d’influences dont se nourrit la scène techno et underground batave.
