He seems like a really cool guy who isn't worried about what people think and is just happy.

Im Jamaican & I love seeing how much Caribbeans & Pacific Islanders have in common. The knuckle water height for rice is key 😂

I love that other people in the store aren’t wearing shoes either 😊😂

You may have married the coolest person on Earth. We became best friends the moment he walked into the store no shirt, no shoes, and no worries. That man is my spirit animal and y’all make a beautiful family.

I'm from Kanéohe, but 16 months ago we had to go mainland due to being retired & no can afford. I loved all these things about your husband, it make me feel I'm home 🥹 Mahalo! 🤙🏼

I was taught to measure with my finger as well (the rice/water) from the Cajun side of my family. That cooking tip has been passed down for many generations!
It’s interesting to see that it is also how your Polynesian husband cooks rice. Love learning about different cultures and their traditions, practices, etc…especially in the kitchen. Very cool!

I live in New Zealand. Can confirm Polynesian people are like this. You know you're in the hood when you see a Samoan mumma chasing her kids down the road with a jandel 😂
They're also super hospitable. You'll leave their home full of food

I can relate to the rice measuring method as my Jamaican mom taught me the same way.😂
