Guesser in the lineup here. To be clear, when the genderqueer person in the lineup said they were a “genderqueer goblin” to me, it was absolutely the goblin part that confused me and not the genderqueer part. I have several non-binary friends and have always made a point to understand different gender expressions as much as I can because I know it’s important to them. Much love to the non-binary community, I wish y’all a lifetime of respect. I’m sorry that I didn’t make the source of my confusion more clear. Also when I got home from the lineup I did my research and now I know what goblincore is and it made sense, so we’re all learning!

its so interesting to see what other people think of themselves, a lot of the time we see conventionally attractive people and we automatically assume that they are so confident and have no issues with self love but watching this just makes us realize that we are all humans with insecurities and that confidence or lack thereof can come from the people you least expect

Attraction is always subjective: It can be the way somebody looks, their behaviour, their voice, etc. and even those attributes are very different from one to another. I believe that for every person, there is at least one other person who finds them attractive. However, some attraction isn't mutual and some people have an easier time to find a complimenter than others because there are attractive attributes which a lot of people agree on, e.g. confidence, physical health, a clear face, cleanliness/hygiene and people who smile/exuberate kindness. While in the end, it's about who people feel comfortable, I believe that consciously investing these five attributes leads to better intersocial interactions.
