“The language you use while seeking change matters.” Key to allowing people’s defensiveness to drop and their hearts to open to question their assumptions about the world.

I’m someone who’s pursuing social justice law. I sincerely appreciate this video, I intend to keep these points in mind when pursuing this journey. Watching your video taught me on last thing: you must have boldness to stand your ground as a social justice advocate

Interesting to see someone very attached to Social Justice that is still open to change and self-reflection. I wonder why she reflected on her message and communication and decided it was a marketing problem, rather than also reflecting on the ideology itself. For example, "privilege" is hated by non-SocJus people because it's an insult and it's used to abuse, otherize or control people. I'm a survivor of SocJus abuse and categories like "oppressor", "oppressed" were used to maintain the caste system. Victimhood is currency used for power, or in late-stage SocJus, in self-defense. Those of us treated as oppressors could never defend ourselves, it was considered wrong, because we have "privilege". If Alexandra continues to contemplate genuinely, she should consider that one reason more people are rejecting her ideology is not just because of the words, but because of the intent to hurt, slander and control behind it.

here is the thing . I tried to point this out and I was accused of 'tone policing' and made into a social pariah, every club I was in took me aside and told me to quit hanging out with them, all because I said the exact same thing as this .

Politics, . How are you going to be on the same page with your oppressor/violator? Couldn't finish listening. Direct and clear "Language does matter", also for integrity.

Oh, you said you were unhappy, and no curriculum change came? By your view I am more privileged than you and I would expect little change from similar efforts by myself.

Ms. Alexandra Campion needs to learn one more lesson. People are defensive because some of the language and concepts of social justice are confusing, contradictory, and blatantly wrong. The better approach is to avoid social justice language completely and communicate the need to achieve precisely defined outcomes. Next, collaborate to achieve these goals.

"how to brainwash using marketing tactics"
Did she ever think that the data and proof she collected is faulty and cherry picked? Why is it that everyone else is wrong and they are right?

Another victim due to her selected school wasn't making her feel "included". What a joke.
