Ralph pretending Sue is still there is so heartbreaking, the poor guy 😢

The most depressing part is that Ralph found out that she was pregnant while holding her burned corpse.

Remember people. The JLA fell apart and Tim Drake’s father was murdered. Because a woman thought an elaborate attack on several people was a better idea to get her husband back and than just CALLING HIM AND ASKING IF HE WANTED TO TAKE ANOTHER SHOT!

Such a sad moment for underutilized character

Whats funny is when the Elongated man was introduced on the Flash tv show - i legitimately had NEVER heard of him and thought he was just plastic man 😂

Dr light being an awful Rap*st that SA’d her also messed him up, he felt like he’d failed her in every way possible, I hope he recovered from that

What's not mentioned is Jean was also responsible for the death of Tim Drake a.k.a Red Robin's father. She pays the Calculator to hire someone to target him and it was Captain Boomerang who she could also count as responsible for his death. She sent Tim's dad a gun with a letter saying defend yourself and he and boomerang killed each other.

I recently started reading the comic series 52, which features the story of Elongated Man after Sue’s death and has made me heavily appreciate the character. I’d recommend reading it if you ever wanna delve deeper into the character. It also features guys like steel, question, and Renee Montoya

Also the reason why Jean loring and Atom broke up is cause he caught her cheating on him.

Ralph and Sue are such a sweet and fantastic couple.

And unlike modern stories, which are rarely mentioned in the future, this one was. It was a major point of Blackest Night, with his compassion for Jean, even after she killed Sue, being why the Atom became an Indigo Deputy Lantern.

I remember reading this. The fact that the Atom was accused only to learn his ex-wife did it was a twist you didn't expect.

Got to hate it when your ex-wife walks on your wife's 🧠 💀

Yup, just read that issue last night, it was really heartbreaking!
That Ex-Wife was absolutely insane.

I can relate to this guy, i lost my own Girlfriend about 9 months ago and even now ill still say hello to her and let her know i love her when i get in my car to leave. Why in my car is because not long after she passed, a set of handprints appeared on my back window and theyre the same size her hands were, and no matter how much it rains or how dirty my car gets, you can still very clearly make out the handprints, so im 99% sure it was her letting me know shes still around, maybe not physically but shes still with me. So everytime i get in my car ill say hello to her, let her know i miss her and let her know i still love her just so she knows im still thinkin about her and so she knows when i get up there with her she’ll still be my everything

I've heard this event described as the most needlessly cruel for the sake of cruelty story in the DC universe, and after having read it, thought on it, and watched multiple videos on it I'm more than inclined to agree. It really is just a dark hearted story

Oh Ralph...I wish we could all give him a hug.

When Sue died, the entirety of the DC universe grieved... readers as well., and the last pages, as Ralph prepared for sleep 💤, without Sue, this was heartbreaking 💔💔💔💔💔
..and remember, no one mourned Jason Todd.

Sue was pretty awesome too. Definitely a real JLA member to me.
