Just saw 2 of the most emotional retirements in NHL history in 2 nights.
I jumped out of my chair and starting clapping alone in my room when him and Giguère took a lap together!

Let's go Ducks! Bring home the cup for a fitting end to a historic career.

Such a classy guy, he deserves every bit of this standing ovation. The fact that he shared this moment with Giguere is so kind and respectful. Congratulations Teemu, we are going to miss you!

Teemu Selanne & Jean-Sebastien Giguere, 2 of the ultimate Ducks legends, 2007 Stanley Cup Champions, and overall great hockey players that won't be forgotten anytime soon.

The class and sportsmanship this man has. Buddies or not, raising someone else's hand during his own moment of tribute. As modest as they come.

Man, that skate with Giguere gave me chills. Those 2003 playoffs, the year after the ANAHEIM Angels won the World Series, was an Orange County sports fan dream.

The moment with Giguere is probably one of the most heartwarming in NHL history. What a legend!

Watching Teemu skate down the ice left me remembering watching the guy when I was a kid and thinking how great of a player he was. I couldn't help but get chills down my spine when he and J-S skated down the ice together. As a Habs fan, what great players. What a great sport. What a great organization. May the best be yet to come for Teemu and J-S. Thanks for the great hockey years you've both given us!

I can't imagine I will ever see something like this again.  So much respect across an entire league.  Even the Kings honored him.

How fitting to have Giguere be able to skate with him like that...absolutely beautiful. So glad they got to share that moment together as both former teammates on ANA.

Holy that was so beautiful, the joy on Giggy face was when Selanne hugged him. Hockey is the only sport, where you'll see stuff like this with class, grit and pure heart.

The NHL is the definition of a classy organization. Look at that respect the AVS gave him.

For myself, as a goalie fan, goaltender, a goalie enthusiast, there was always that one player, who has a goalie like myself admired, idolized, not only for the player he was, but the person he became in N.America, for the Canadian hockey kid, and for the hero he was for me.... and that player was Teemu Selanne! When I met him following the 1993-94 season in Winnipeg, which he took the time to talk to me, sign his rookie card, (which was later stolen and never found and still pissed about it), I will forever be grateful for that moment! Hearing that horrible and hilarious accent, and the way he said my name, I only wished I had a video from that moment so I could watch it over and over again!

Teemu, you were an exceptional guy!!!
I still hope I can meet you again, to have my other Rookie card autographed once again, so I can finally have it again!!

Cheers from NB, Canada!
