i remember as a kid, the plastic on the controller would wear off until you were left with a white piece of plastic as a controller.

Well my uncle had this controller when he was little. I borrowed this controller to try how gaming was in the 70s but my elder sister who was a teen used this to satisfy her own bodily needs .

Grew up with the NES but my household also had an Atari. As nostalgic as the joystick was, the NES d-pad was WAY more responsive.

If you've never tried an Atari joystick, it's nowhere near as responsive as a clicky arcade joystick.
