The governor of South Dakota should be stepping in to help this family. She should be for the ranchers.

Everyone needs to stand up for this couple. This agent needs to be investigated.

My mind is baffled by the concept that forestry land boarders are enforced with tactical responses while our national border is left wide open; lined with buses and planes.

Your summary at the end of the video is exactly right. I worked for the USDA Forest Service (FS) for 30 years as a Range Conservationist, and I can tell you there is absolutely no reason for the FS to pursue this case intrusively. The FS could have easily swapped the land, or they could have just sold the land to the Maudes.

I've seen cases like this resolved cooperatively, as this one should have been. It's no big deal; these trespass cases involving old homesteads, grazing allotments, or patented mining claims have always popped up and are quickly settled civilly. In fact, the owner of some land in Idaho I bought had accidentally trespassed on the FS, so the FS graciously sold me the land. The ownership maps were changed, everyone moved on without law enforcement or lawyers, and the public made money from selling a few acres.

I would guess that this is all part of the weaponization of our government and the "swamp" hating conservative Western culture. The FS should not even have a law enforcement agency. We already have the county or state law enforcement agencies chosen by the voting public.

This FS agent is a bully. If he did not pursue an amicable solution, then he should be charged with malicious persecution. We have seen this type of behavior out of a lot of various federal agencies lately. These are not dangerous criminals and the use of excessive force during arrest is ridiculous.

If squatters can legally steal a person's home by living there a couple months, why the double standard when it comes to farmers and ranchers?

In most states. An established fence row. Has whats called a grand father’s clause. This seems personal and is ridiculous. Because this should be handled in court. Rather than strong arming this family. Lunders sounds like a real piece of work. I really hope these good people win out. God please bless these people.

Anything to continue the destruction of the family-owned farms, along with the food supply (especially since their main production is healthy and humanely raised grass-fed Beef & Pork...and not LAB-GROWN)
