Ok i need to go to sleep but this looks like an insane video, and I will definitely watch this tomorrow morning.
Hey Seth, the amount of work and effort u put into every video is insane, and each and every one of them is nothing but quality, so I want to thank you for all that you do.
And I know that your channel is gonna keep growing, I swear last week you were thanking us for 80k.

This is a great video! I was at the running shoe store yesterday, I knew what I wanted (Rincon’s or Beacons), but I know lots of people that don’t even know where to start when they look at the wall. I definitely used knowledge from your channel to help guide my family on shoes. This will help them fall in the right spot!

I used to be like this with running shoes until I finally realized that it doesn't really matter. Find a pair of comfortable shoes and just run. You CAN do sprint drills in a Saucony Triumph. You CAN run a marathon in a Kinvara.

I’m still rocking my Nike Zoom Fly 3’s! A great all round shoe, cushioned yet responsive.

I am a super beginner in running and started 6 months back in the gym after giving up smoking. I also collect sneakers (lifestyle)...jordan, etc. Why not merge a hobbie and get my health back I thought. I know everything about Jordans, Yeezy, collabs, but nothing about running shoes other than my Pegasus 35 Gyakusou, because it was a collab, I used it for about 6 months on a tread mill (45mins each session 2 a week).
Now Covid is started to soften a tad, I want to get back to running and just want to say, super informative and addicted to your channel now...plus the motivation to start to run again...going to start on Monday...even brought an Apple watch as I hate carrying the phone outdoors.
Going to only run on roads, I probably sit in the Easy Firm section but can do with soft. The only thing I know is I pefer my peg 35 gyak over the vapormax 2019 on treadmill, even though I perform better with the vapormax, I felt less tight during the run and more worked out.
I have also tend to ankel roll in the past (underpronate I think) so going for a stability shoe. Trying the new balance 860V10 or the V11, the latter just came out as I have a 15% code before the Nike ID Peg 37 turns up in 4 week. Cheers.

QD: Long Run Soft: Hoka Clifton.
QD2: Tempo Day Responsive: NB FF Tempo

QD: The Pegasus Turbo 2 is a great tempo day option, and it could fall under a lot of categories. I would say most of all it would fall under soft or high cushion but it also is very responsive as well.

QD: Easy day cushion: NB 1080v10. One of my favorites.

Cant wait for your NB Fuelcell TC review. Going to be running my first marathon this sunday in them. Aiming for a 2:55. Love them so far!

Qd: it's a 2019 shoe but the NB rebel would be good in the responsive category for tempo/threshold. Plus they are $80 right now!

QD: this is a 2019 shoe, but the zoom fly 3's are a great tempo/long run shoe for the soft landing. I love them a lot!

QD: Long run high cushion for me is the New Balance 1080v10. I also use this as the easy day high cushion. Because I'm just an average runner I have a 3 shoe rotation and it essentially fills in as follows:

Saucony Freedom 3 - For easy day/tempo day soft landing
Saucony Kinvara 11 - For easy day/tempo day responsive
New Balance 1080v10 - For easy day/long run high cushion

I typically won't take either of my Saucony over 10 miles (which for me is a long run), so if I know I'm going to go that distance or greater it's the 1080v10.

My Freedom 3's are going to be needing replaced soon, and I'm hoping to either replace them with the Brooks Hyperion Tempo or the Saucony Endorphin Speed. From my research I think both of these shoes would be a good replacement for that. They are light but both seem to have a softer landing than the Kinvara's do. My hope is to be able to use them for longer tempo runs where I can push the pace a little bit. I purchased the Beacon v2 for this, but after running in them for about 30 miles I realized the toe box was too roomy for me so I had to return them. I fear that's going to be the case with the Hyperion's as well, but I'll have to find out.

Well done Seth! I'm following you for a few months now (from France!) since I started running and get in shape. I'm learning so much thanks to you (picking up as much as I can from your new and past videos, like the Lydiard book during one of your planning haha, building that base right now from the next few months!). Just keep doing what you're doing, it's amazing! Awesome value, awesome positivity and inspiring self consciousness. Love to you, true love and the kids!

Seth I gotta say you are all kinds of energy and it's what makes your video so great and keeps us attached. Being that I don't consider myself knowledgeable in the "shoe feel" category and have been running only more consistently for about 4yrs to join my wife (she's the runner) and have something to do together. I don't quite have a rotation but I had been using the kinvara 10s last year and had to get new ones this year so I went with the NB FF Tempo cuz they have the same drop as kinvaras and wanted to stay with similar feel. I'm still trying to get a second pair so I don't wear these out and plan on giving a marathon a try since I've only done halves but not sure which shoes to get yet. Anyhow great channel and thanks again Seth #loveeachother.
