Great video Dan!!! For me my first passion is building homes to the highest standard and that is where I am always tinkering. Secondly archery and mountain biking. I am always tinkering in both of those as well. My challenge is time like everyone else. I would absolutely love to go down the rabbit hole on custom arrow builds and testing. I picked up a dozen UV1K from SVA yesterday and out of the box they were money. I feel I got the confidence of a custom arrow build and could use my time commodity in other areas. That to me is the biggest benefit. Way less noise then my previous arrows, better groups out of the box and on to the next thing. Same price as a top tier custom build. Great work Dan for putting the time in for us!!! We all appreciate it.

Appreciate the effort UV. You've produced great arrows for the guys to just buy and fly. However, some guys just like to tinker and build arrows. It's part of the hobby of archery. Also, an option for repairing for ripped vanes during training would be great! Also, the non-compatibility with other components (4.5 ID) feels like the Apple approach where all components need to be purchased from UV. Forces industry to create 4.5 ID components.

I’ll be honest Danno, I had to FF through Kolby’s portion. 100% reminds me of a snake oil salesman. Not just his pitch, but his overall presence. I’ve sold arrows, as you know, for the better part of my adult life and I simply can’t get behind these things. I love that you’re the first (that I’ve seen) to do a head to head comparison between your *fucking gag me* “premium” arrow and UV’s “premium option. I’ll be interested to see where things go from here, but thanks for this particular video.

Both are definitely of the bougie class of arrows! Love the review Dan. Spot on. I've shot the Easton Pro Comps in the past and thought they were terrific. I picked up some of the UV 1K and I'm playing around with them and I think they are also terrific. I also found they are impacting a little higher than my current arrow build of choice (Black Eagle X-Impact with the Iron Will Snyder Core system). The season is too close for me to switch, but I will be tinkering with the UV 1K and the Easton X10 Parallel Pro. ABT!

I don’t get the hate! Are they expensive yes, Is anyone forcing you to buy them no! Pull up to any public land gate or public boat ramp. All you see is 75k trucks, 50-80k boats, 3k bows, 1k sub 5 pound tree stands. Be honest with your self and say you hate UV because they are attached to Chris Bee. Stop hiding behind price or it’s made overseas. It’s ok to like high end gear it’s also ok to not spend that money on arrows. Just stop hating on people that ultimately enjoy the same thing you do.

I think I’m just very confused on who UV is targeting with this arrow? 4.5mm arrow that forces you to use their components almost exclusively AND they’re insanely expensive for the average working hunter. I’d love to see their market research.

Easton. American made, simple. I personally will not pay that for a UV(victory) arrow. Also a thought and correct me if I am wouldn't 1k be the least durable carbon fiber being that it has the least amount of filament?

Great video thanks. Little out of most hunters price range but they are both the best of the best. Some love sending 50 dollars down range. Some of us work to hard for our money to do that but we all are trying to do the same thing. Put meat in the freezer.

I doubt you will get arrow shafts that are straighter or are held to better tolerances than Easton X10. Every single Olympic medal in Paris was taken with the recurve version of that arrow. (at about double the price !)
