Different sources of cold dot multi stack additively, as they're the same multiplier. As such, if you have a lot of cold dot multi already, the change to frigid wake should increase dot damage, not lower it, as its "More cold damage" and thus multiplicative with cold dot multi.

The 40% chance to explode with Profane Bloom seems like a nice clear option and solid buff from 25%.

Nice. Was planing to go SSF starter with this. Tried out it out in Delve event and it was amazing with such hard start. Now you can actually craft stuff for it.

I played Vortex Cold DoT in flashback. Bossing is good with low budge gear, but the problem is mapping. You cannot just press the vortex and run through the map quickly because there will be gaps if you run too fast(Use a white quicksilver flask will cause this issue). You have to walk slowly or use cold snap actively to fill up the gaps.
Also, because it's dot, the monsters die behind you which means you need to constantly go back and pick up the drops.
Btw, I can finish T12 with some low budge gear(tabula rasa and rime gaze) at lv 83-84. The build is good for league start

I plan to play this as league starter, and haven't played this type of build since Synthesis League, but I do know one thing: It is a really versatile build that can handle all content. I used CI with ES leech nodes/notables, 0 Cluster Jewels, frost bolt/bomb/Cold Snap (not even the vaal version)/Storm brand linked with lightning pen +culling Strike, using a lvl 22 Herald of Thunder ring (for bosses)/and exploded those 10 Frostbolts from linked spell echo in wand on those vortexes. The clear was ahead of me so I could basically make a path of dmg in front which helped in delve A LOT especially. It is the only build I've ever had that did Uber Elder Deathless, and tbh the most fun build other than maybe BleedBow Gladiator that I've ever had.

Noob question here. I have the build all set up but the 2 link spellslinger/frostbolt. Everytime I link the 2 it Grey's out frostbolt, and it's not triggering from the wand either. I know it's something simple I've overlooked but I haven't found it yet.

First off dude you've been super helpful with multiple of your videos, first comment but you have taught me a ton about this game. Now the real comment, is there not a paste bin anywhere for this build? I can't find it in description or on the poe-vault link and the links to the path of exile online tree I'm not sure if they're accurate since the level 97 link says that 30 something skill points remaining. Would love to get the paste bin if you can point out where I can find it

actually, switching from 20% cold dot multi to 15% more cold damage is a straight buff since in your build there is more than 33% cold dot multiplier already. In other words: if you have already a ton of cold dot multiplier 20% more does not really improve significantly your dps while 15 more cold damage is always an improvement of 15%

If I were to not take profane bloom, would using creeping frost in place of vortex for clearing be a viable choice? I currently don't see a problem in doing so

I play mine with evasion/ES gear. Got around 9kES and tons of evasion i reach 80% evasion rating with pots.Some block chance around 50% and even some physical reduction around 50% and ofc max resists and chaos inculation. As for dmg i reach around 1.5mil dps which i know isnt that much but i farm t16 safe and sound.Build is expensive though.Tricksteur is good as well but does less dmg.

i got the trigger skill craft and setup, but speccing EE in pob lowers my vortex dps by alot, is it something im missing?
