I hope Malaysia can take note and implement or emulate this kind of energy storage system. We do have solar parks scattered all across the nation but we don't have any offshore wind farm or onshore wind farm yet. On the bright side, we managed to manufacure our very own locally-produced BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) equipment and instrumentation through a partnership between two different companies joining hands together which are Citaglobal and Genetec. I read somewhere that Huawei and another company were the ones that supplied Sembcorp with the ESS equipment.
