jquery 01 - Event listeners 101

jQuery simplifies the process of responding to user and browser events, such as a click of the mouse. The jQuery code pattern for handling these events can confound a beginner, so here we take it all apart, explain every piece, and put it back together again. At the end, you'll know exactly what each piece is doing, and you'll be ready to write more jQuery!

The .hide(), .show() and .toggle() methods are demonstrated.
