There is a simple way to find out if toilet paper will dissolve. Put pieces of toilet paper into a glass of cold water. If you still see big pieces 5–10 minutes later, it means that you can’t throw this toilet paper into the toilet. But if the pieces are almost impossible to notice, it means that you can believe the manufacturer.

- A regular Band-Aid that covers your battle wounds so well is made of a lot of different things: fats, wax, rubber, and other ingredients. Such a “cocktail” obviously doesn’t dissolve in water and can clog the pipes in your house.
- Сontact lenses are made of polymers that don’t decompose for many years. Of course, a tiny lens probably won’t block a pipe, but it will definitely harm the environment.
- Experts don’t recommend throwing away cat litter. After a few hours, the litter will solidify and get stuck somewhere in the pipe.
- Chlorine-based detergents are very aggressive, so aggressive that they can damage the pipes if you use them too often.
- Clay-based face masks should not be washed down the toilet. The small particles will eventually pile up on the inside of the pipes and create a huge clog.
- Despite the fact that tea leaves seem small and completely harmless, they’re actually not. Over time, tea leaves pile up inside the pipes and form clogs that are very hard to remove.
- Even the smallest pieces of plastic bags can be dangerous: they form clogs, and, of course, they are really dangerous to the environment.

Some years ago I visited a water purification plant. They told that largest item ever found from their sewer water filter system was a 6, 6 foot (2 meters) long steel bed. I however doubt was it flush down the toilet..

Along with all the things in the list, let's not forget to remind our sisters and girls and women not to flush down any sanitary pads or napkins or any material down the toilet which may clog up the pipes. Many of the times I have heard People talking around our area many pipes been cleared of blocks which include these products also. I know being a man should write about this or not but I have seen many awareness sessions held in our city regarding this kind of General information so thought to share with you all in context of the video

Don't flush TOILET PAPER? Well, where the heck am I supposed to put it? In the trashcan? I've been flushing toilet paper forever. The pipes has never been clogged.
