Remember as a kid I tought RE was "immersion breaking" since the characters knew exactly what items to pick/discard, connected boxes, etc... Until I had the "pleasure" to replay CT2 and realize how well designed RE actually is. You can tell devs just gave up towards the end with the infinite fire extinguisher. Also "I don't need sleep, I need answers" made me giggle.

"The struggle within your self to finish this game" is the new title.

I love how no matter the danger or fear, they will sprint towards the door, then politely open and close it 😂 That would be the first red flag that the game is going to be a doozy

i like how there is a door that needs a Red card to enter...and inside is only an elevator that needs a different card to move, such brilliant facility design.

If Bates had a butler, the butler would call him "master bates". Great playthrough.

I was 9 when this game came out and I remember reading about it in a gamer magazine thinking "Why play this when there is Resident Evil?"

This has to be the only game in the history of mankind where a fucking chair and thermos are more effective at killing zombies than a gun, and for that I gotta give props to the team that worked on it.

I fell asleep to this, and woke up less than one minute before the softlock ending happened. Great timing!

Watching this live was too painful, but also funny. Props to you for sticking it out and taking the time to trim it down afterward. :') <3

The game may suck, but that chase music at 44:40 is a real banger

This was honestly a great watch, Bawks suffering aside of course.

When I was a kid, this game intimidated me so much and I have no idea why lol

devs: how do we make the player proceed in the way we want in a subtle way?

some big brain guy: make doors non-interactable until we say so

devs: give this man a raise

This game is beyond awful but it has some interesting story elements and the soundtrack is straight fire (not a surprise though since it's the same composer from the first two games).

The reason this game is such a mess is because Human went bankrupt in the middle of making this game, hence why the gameplay is so terribly specific and the final scenario is a mess. They probably didn't have time to flesh out the gameplay. Also the zombies and science plot were added last minute to appeal to RE fans so that's why the story winds up such a mess as well.

6 hour video for a game that even the title says it's awful?

Yes please.

Man I remember doing every possible thing to avoid the samurai landing for hours when I was a kid thinking I might have missed some key or event in the level.. I was never able to finish it as the whole thing was too stupid to be considered as an ending even for 10 year old me.. thanks for finishing the game for me man ..🤗

When I was a kid I watched my older sister and some friends play this, I didn't even understand English at the time, and this game was so ridiculously scary to me... This and RE gave me literal nightmares and I never even touched a controller to play them. Now this game looks so bad it's funny.

I remember LOVING the SNES game and the direct sequel on the PSX is one of my favorite horror games of all time... then finally getting a chance to play CTII thinking, "Oh, this is going to be amazing"... nothing I've done since and nothing I do ever again moving forward will instill such a tremendous sense of regret.
