A good rule of thumb is to spend around 10-15% of the bike cost on your bike locks. I agree with your U lock recommendations for most reasonably priced bikes. The other two locks I would only use on a really cheap bike that does not warrant the extra protection. For an ebike or bike in the $3000 and up range I would stick to the Hiplok D1000 or the Litelok X3. An alternative for an bike with a rack or other means to carry it would be a heavy duty chain and high quality padlock. A chain that is 15-16mm thick and uses a noose can give you more versatility than a U lock, but is going to weigh more.
