I tried making Bruno Albouze's strawberry fraisier from his youtube channel! It's almond genoise, mousseline cream, and fresh strawberries. It's so good! please like and subscribe for more videos!

He's got the best recipes ever!
I followed the recipe exactly, except I slightly changed the way I made the strawberry punch and the mousseline cream. For the strawberry punch, I microwaved the simple syrup instead of boiling it on the stovetop. For the mousseline cream, I combined the sugar, flour, cornstarch, vanilla, and egg yolks in a pot, then slowly added the hot milk and combining. Then, I turned on the heat and cooked the pastry cream. (I think this method is simpler, and I first saw this method on the Cooking Tree's youtube channel.)

Hmmm. I remember from years ago, back when bruno released this recipe the first time, that he made some kind of pistachio museline.

Does anyone else remember that?
