Charted at #6 on Billboard's Records Most Played by Disk Jockeys chart in May 1950. From the movie of the same name starring Dana Andrews and Susan Hayward. "My Foolish Heart" was an enormous hit in 1950. Other chart versions: #3 for Gordon Jenkins and His Orchestra (which I've also posted), #6 for Billy Eckstine, #15 for Margaret Whiting, #21 for Richard Hayes, #29 for Hugo Winterhalter, #9 R&B for Gene Ammons and His Sextet, all in 1950, and #95 for The Demensions in March 1963.

Original Billboard review: "Miss Carson gets her most distinctive sound to date in a dramatic rendition of the lovely pictune. Rene's orchestra and chorus enhance the feeling with "angel music"." Billboard Overall Rating: 80 out of 100.

With orchestra conducted by Henri René.

Written by Victor Young and Ned Washington.

B-side is "Candy and Cake" which itself charted at #12, making this a double-sided hit single for Mindy.
