It's literally the best star wars escape experience ever crafting my own unique character with a story that is better than most rpg's ! It's a golden beacon to the good old days of beloved Bioware! The star wars story is on point allowing us to see all the great names of the old republic and be a part of a deeply connected story that is just the best star wars experience in my mind! SWTOR will always be my love!

Between the content creators, the quality of the class stories and how versatile the game is (even more so after 7.0), SWTOR is honestly the one MMORPG that managed to make me stick with it. I love the character creation (sometimes a bit too much) and I adore the stories, even the expansion ones. My only pet peeves are the walker missions for Kotfe and kotet and the fact that no new combat styles have been introduced yet (I would love to have a melee force-sensitive option for tech classes and a tech-boosted option for force classes)

I still play SWTOR for a few reasons. First, I’m a huge fan of the Old Republic era and especially the KOTOR games. Second, as someone who is more of a fan of the Sith than the Jedi, I’m tired of games always putting me in the perspective of the republic faction. This is one of the few games that allows me to create and play as a sith, and honestly I find the sith empire class stories very interesting in this game cause it shows that while the empire isn’t perfect, the republic are not really the good guys they’re always portrayed as. Also another cool thing, is being able to play as a Jedi character that actually seems like a person and is not the uninteresting cliche Jedi character.

Funny, as much as we haven't had a lot of new content, I still haven't played through what we have.
I really enjoy the first parts of each class story and find myself making new characters to relive those tales like rereading a favorite book. I love creating new looks, combining different armor/clothes, dyes, and character customization. Making a completely new looks that create new and different personalities.
Being part of an active guild is also a bonus for group activities, but I do miss having regular in game friends to do stuff with.
To me swtor is comfort food. I can always count on it when I want it.

I started playing roughly half a year ago and while I haven't really connected with any other players - as in finding friends or a guild and so on (I did lots of dungeons in the group finder but barely anyone says a word during these runs) - I still find it worth playing as some sort of single player game mostly.
So, if you are looking for a huge star wars single player game, you should definitely also try SWTOR, even though it's considered a MMORPG.

Many of your reasons are much like my own. I will be with this game until they shut it down, bugs and all. Lack of love from EA, lack of budget, I'm here. I still love playing through the stories with new characters I create, I am getting into PvP, and the Space Barbie aspect is just a blast. I adore your creations and your videos are some of the most fun and creative I have seen in the community. 😊 Until the next video...keep up the amazing work.

I play because I like the storyline, the gameplay and the styles of the game. I play because I like to murder every npc, relentlessly. I play because torturing companions is a nice spice added to this game. How I wish that we were able to electrocute them all at any given time. And because we finally see a video game, where the dark side is too strong!!

Only if you have subscription and friends to play with, unfortunately I've got neither after my old guild died and was sold by its founder. I do visit some times for nostalgia.
