Titanic Simulator 6 - Titanic VR | Diving to the Shipwreck in 2022 | Realistic Graphics (4K)

Titanic VR is a game about exploring the Titanic shipwreck. Also, James Cameron has a cameo in this game lol. It's kind of funny. Makes me wonder if he was a pain in the backside while making the movie.
Anyhow, this project is yet another dream game for many people. Everyone saw Titanic, the movie and this game is making that dream come true, at least the underwater/modern times part of the movie. A few bugs aside, the game is pretty good, a solid 8/10. If they fix a few things and polish the textures a bit more? It has a 10/10 potential!

I'm torn. As a history teacher, I'd love to dive the wreck. But I hate the ocean. AND given what happened this past summer (RIP Titan Submersible crew), I think this is the closest I'd be willing to get. Still, this is a fantastic tool!

This may be a stupid question, but I know the wreck has recently been 3D rendered… is this recreation hypothetical (knowing what the ship looked like before it went down and some well photographed/videotaped areas and kind of stitching a simulation together) or is this an accurate portrayal of certain areas in the wreck?

It’s crazy to think that if we don’t have the technology to accurately replicate the Titanic wreck IN FULL yet, that we totally will some day soon:) sometimes technology is pretty awesome.
