Two imprisoned men bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency.
The Shawshank Redemption (1994) was directed by Frank Darabont and stars Tim Robbins (Andy Defresne), Morgan Freeman (Elis Boyd 'Red' Redding), Bob Gunton (Warden Samuel Norton), Clancy Brown (Bryon Hadley) among an ensemble cast.
