I lived in Maryland for about 2 years and watching your videos really has me missing it. Those crabs and the experience are like nothing else!

From Missouri so I have zero regional bias, Dungeness are an easy S tier both in the amount of meat and quality taste. Any time I travel to to the northwest im getting some

I've lived in California and the East coast. Tbh I don't taste much of a difference between Dungeness and Maryland blue crabs. The Maryland blue crabs MIGHT be slightly sweeter, but they're 99% the same imo. But I'll always go with dungeness because I think they taste just as good and give you a lot more meat. Much less time to open up and with greater reward

I think stone crab have been the only crab I’ve tasted even remotely close to my favorite which is Snow crab. Love it! Snow crab can be hit or miss, but when it’s good it’s sooo good!!!

Dungeness is what I grew up on. My dad loved it too. I still remember catching one with a stick and bringing it home when I was about 10 years old. I live in Oregon and the Dungeness crab here is just always fresh and delicious. Now that I'm nearly 40 I always remember my dad who passed away suddenly a year ago whenever I have it. Makes me feel closer to him. He used to always make the best crab omletes.

As a west coast kid Dungeness is my S tier. Nothing better fresh.

I love Dungeness but, as a Virginian, there's nothing like blue crab and Old Bay seasoning. I put Old Bay in my fried chicken breading, in my homemade Mac Salad, on my pork roast, roasted potatoes and of course on my corn on the cob.

Just buy Dungeness crab you get so much meat for the money and it tastes so good. It has a sweet flavor and if you dip it in a little butter oh my God your pants will fit tighter, and not at the belt area

I used to catch Dungeness and redrock in Seattle and they were pretty good. I had frozen stone crab in FL and it was so so. But I had fresh stone crab in season and it was THE BEST. Bloody expensive too.

Catching Dungeness for free at grandpa's marina was one of the greatest parts of my childhood.

Definitely get the stone crab fresh, world of difference. As far as soft-shelled, I've only ever had those deep-fried 😂

I live in the PNW and we get Dungeness and Alaskan King Crab. I like both equally. I lived in Maryland for a few years and loved that crab.

I used to have pet crabs when I was like 4 whenever we went to the shop (this was in China) I always see crabs and beg my mum to buy them and when I was done we eat them 😂

In Hawaii we get Samoan Crabs. Actually the best tasting seafood I've ever eaten. They're so good it tastes like their meat is already covered in butter straight after boiling! Gotta try it.
