How to use WiFi Calling and WiFi SMS on your Android Phone

You can use WiFi calling and messaging any time that your phone has a steady WiFi signal. You can do so without a cellular connection, so even if your phone is not able to make regular calls, you can WiFi call/text as long as you have the internet.

In this video, I'll show you how to activate both wifi calling and wifi sms / messaging.
Important note: Both parties need to have this feature on for it to be free.

I have wifi calling. I'm able to talk on wifi but for some reason I cannot text and I'm told I should be able to send a text or receive. I've tried various settings. I'm running LG Stylo 5 system 10.

I can find the wifi calling but It says I need to be connected to wifi and the mobile network at the same time. But I need the wifi calling because I get zero sirvice in my area 😒😫

So here's my issue, I can do almost everything you mention in the video, except for what I need most. I'm currently on airplane mode + wifi only and calling works fine, but I can't, for the life of me get sms working. I have contacts in the US who I'd love to get in touch with and these people just don't use WhatsApp so I'm trying, I really am....

I have a galaxy z fold and my wifi calling is not working at all. I tried switching to rcs messaging as well andit just keeps saying verifying phone number and does nothing. Could the reason be why some people are having problems with this is because the phone is locked?
