After leaving Prairie Ridge Resort, it was all smooth sailing!! This episode shows the real beauty of Canada.. the landscapes, the wildlife, and the people!! Some animals get a little too close for comfort too...

I'm CANOEING across CANADA! I've never canoed in my life and I'm taking on the challenge of canoeing from the Rocky Mountains to Montreal.
It has been one of the most intense, eye opening and character building moments of my life!

Love that you had a romantic view of travelling across Canada💙 IMO, we are a kind, community minded people because there has been hardship to live here. Although we all don't live in Igloos, it is very cold for half of the year. Without our neighbours and communities, in the past, we would not have survived.
There are those who forget this. But its deep, Canadian Culture.. even when "those" say we don't have any.... WE DO. TrueNorthS&F ..🇨🇦☕️🧡

So happy to see more of your adventure in life. I rode freight and hitch hiked from Toronto to Salt Spring Island and back to NFLD twice. Love the Gulf Islands in BC and Kamloops, Jasper, Northern Ontario (Lake of the woods) Old MTL, Love all of PEI red sand love, all of NS. So much to see. Cape Breton!! And NFLD from the port aeux bas to St. John. Going across the Prairie. Sorry I'm just day drinking and remembering how beautiful Canada is

Kudos for another great episode Tom, I eagerly wait for each new posting 👏 You are killing me with your one liners, 33:00 when the elk is coming towards you, you grab your bear spray and say “I’ll bear spray the shit out of you”, and then you pull out your fillet knife 🤣, you are so entertaining to watch.

I’ve been canoeing for a lot of years and never used a sail/umbrella, but in case yours gives up the ghost, I’ve seen ones that have clear plastic panels so you can see through them for navigating. That would drive me crazy having my vision blocked going down a river.

It really surprises me that you are the only canoe out on the river, this looks like such a beautiful place to paddle. Doesn’t canoeing and Canada go hand in hand, where is everyone . . . ?

I look forward to your videos and check every day and when I see you have posted one I know I am set for a 1/2 hour of beautiful scenery, animals and usually a laugh or two. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Love that you do charters, we are a big sailing community here on the east coast of Canada. I grew up taking sailing lessons, then owning my own small sailboat, and then teaching sailing in the summer. Now I am content with sailing on my brother in law's 30' Nonesuch in St. Margaret's Bay in Nova Scotia though the Parlay Revival Charters and We Sail look amazing...
