I visited this elephant yesterday. His name is Rambo.

He was rescued from Zimbabwe. In 2019, he and his mate lost their 9 year old calf. Every morning at 5 AM, they go past the calf’s bones and mourn.
You can tell this because real tears roll from their eyes.

The ranger (caretaker) that is feeding Rambo in this video has developed a strong bond with him. So much so that when he walks through the game reserve the lions within the reserve avoid attacking because Rambo and his mate protect and guard the ranger.

They are so intelligent. I cannot imagine that anyone ever tries to hurt these animals 😭

The best thing is, this ain't by a long shot the biggest elephant specimen out there.
