NASA prepares to release colour images from James Webb Space Telescope

NASA is getting ready to unveil new images from the James Webb Space Telescope, a high-tech endeavour planned to replace the Hubble Telescope.

The first colour pictures from the Webb will be released July 12 – with NASA releasing a few as a sneak peek.

Slight correction: James Webb isn't meant to replace the Hubble telescope. The Hubble telescope is repairable, James Webb is not because it's too far away.
