Lake Ontario Quick Step #Music Video #history #piano

The Lake Ontario Quick Step was composed by Charles Dennée. It was published in 1880. I discovered it on the Library of Congress website. Given that I live near Lake Ontario in upstate New York, I was fascinated to find out about this piece of music. I engraved it using the Muse Score software to bring this music to life through the sound of a virtual piano. To the best of my knowledge, no known recordings of the Lake Ontario Quick Step exist. This video lets you hear the song and provide some historical information about it.
