Marianne Williamson explains her 2024 presidential campaign

The 2024 election season has begun, and while a second Trump vs. Biden showdown is expected by many, a number of challengers have emerged within the Democratic Party. One of them is Marianne Williamson—author of several self-help books, and former 2020 presidential candidate. Williamson joins TRNN Editor-in-Chief Maximillian Alvarez to explain what she's about, why she's running, and how she hopes to transform US politics through her candidacy.

Okay, I'm in. I agree with a lot of what Ms Williamson described. My most notable point was, "We will not turn 'this' around on a dime" That expectation is incredible and insightful. I'm ex-Navy and you don't turn an aircraft carrier around on a dime, and the same will be with this great nation. Like a carrier captain, you state the direction, and the crew takes you there. Ms. Williamson will make a remarkable leader for our nation. I am ready to be part of the crew.

I love how these two speak. Ive listened to Max on Marianne's podcast and it's always so refreshing with these two. I don't often find Marianne attacking people personally which was one of the big draws towards her I had when I began my own journey 13 years ago. In any of her material from her tuesday lectures to her relationship seminars I've purchased to in person, she's very wonderful to be around. A powerful force truly. One of the few people I hear who can own their stuff, apologize where needed, and keeps moving forward. Because of Marianne I've become a better citizen with sincere interest in our politics and better able to have these conversations with others around me without attack and defense. Her life has transformed my own life. Imagine what she can do for a country.

One of the things I love about Marianne is that she thinks about long-term impacts of political decisions. The Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Confederacy) never made a decision without considering how it would affect folks seven generations out. We need to get back to this kind of governing.
