What's the creepiest part of Twilight Princess?

I think the true meaning of this is actually a look at the weather forecast.

Cloudy, with a chance of Ilia

I actually love that. Seeing a part of Link's darkness. He's always the pure hero who saves Hyrule, but everyone has a part of darkness inside and Link's isn't shown enough. I want more of that Link tempted by darkness but always returning to light because he's the hero.
Twilight Princess is my favorite of all Zelda games btw

I never tought about why Link is smiling after Ilia starts falling and now i'm freked out.

Honestly, one of the creepiest details here is that, when Ilia goes to attack Link in the vision, she's caught off guard. Not because Link was able to fight her off, but because she saw too late that Link had turned on her first.

I agree with everything you said except for one thing:
To me, then and now, when I played it and all these years since, The illias to me represented all of Link's desires. All the things he could achieve with the power of the fused shadows: The love of Illia included. Or maybe even the idea of the adoration of women as part of that power, whether given willfully or against their will...Point is, to me it seemed Link was thinking of all the things he could have, yes, with the power of the fused shadows, before coming to and realizing he had fallen to the temptation in that vision, thus why he drops to his knees. Either way, great video!

BOTW2 is supposed to be creepier?
Great.

All this is making me think about that “majora’s mask and the fused shadow were from the same tribe” theory. It’s also making me think about fierce deity Link, too, and how his eyes are pupil - less And what not. Just like that interloper.

I always thought it was really impactful that Link goes through this whole game like a master, gritting his teeth and taking on every challenge with a grunt, and that this vision is the thing that brings him to his knees, seeing his own weakness and what was at stake truly broke him.

Funny, this cutscene didn't hit me with creepiness and take me out of the game. You know what did? When Link thought he defeated the Twilit Arachnid Armogohma, but shock appeared on his face to reveal the battle wasn't done, and he had to kill the "real, " albeit tiny, monster controlling the boss of the temple. It was a bit of a fourth wall break in my eyes. It didn't proceed with the boss being dead and me getting a heart container per usual. The game was like "Nope! Not yet!" Sent a chill down my spine. Fitting for spiders, I guess.

So basically its saying that Link isn't special & if he wasn't careful of the Fused Shadow then the darkness inside him (Dark Link) would take over? Sounds kinda cool to me :P

Fair assessment, but when you mentioned Link's image being transferred to one of the spellcasters, I think that it's worth noting that this also represents Link's perspective, as guided by Lanayru, being shifted across the vision.
This has the undertones that A) Lanayru wants Link to see that the consequences of lust for power are felt by all, no matter how powerful one becomes, and 2) Link should empathize with everyone, including those that have been set apart and those that have set *themselves* apart. Those casters, too, were made by the goddesses; they were people with people-level potentials, rights, desires, and needs.

When I first saw this, I just thought Link had gone completely insane.

That time when Zelda went full Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I like the way the this game puts Link in a position where he essentially walks the thin path between light and shadow

This is why I realize only now that I should have DEFENITIVELY not played this game as a 6 year old when the age rating was double my age...

I still fucking love it tho ;)

11:07 I feel like the 'last of the interlopers' was their banishment rather than them being offed by the light spirits.
This is because Midna states that her kind were banished, and as it seems, only the Twili are able to use the power of the Fused Shadows. They also seem to be the only beings able to touch them without losing themselves to the darkness of the Fused Shadows.
