I really enjoy your videos...I feel like Capri is a good choice for serious diyers as are Milwaukee, Channel lock, gearwrench, Tekton, and Carlyle. My personal favorite combination wrenches are my Proto professional long pattern. I personally like the matte rougher finish and they fit so precisely. I have to admit they are harder to find and a bit pricey....but they are my favorite. Great video

40 years ago a old tech told me to take a piece of light sandpaper and wedge it between the nut and open side to the wrench to get that added bite. I use the waterproof 1000 - 1200 just enough bite but not enough to damage the Wrench or nut.

Options are always good some times you need options. When it hits the fan your glad you have options. I have always thought it would be nice to have the non marring sockets you don't want to wreck nice chrome.

I do like the chrome on the Capri wrenches. I have an old set of SAE wrenches that I got from my Grandpa that are in a plastic MoorMan's wrench roll and that wrench roll is so brittle I'm almost afraid to pull the wrenches out of it. I do like those Canvas wrench rolls way better than the plastic ones.

I have pliers that look like those. I think they’re OEM Lectrolite. Merged with SK in ‘60s.

+ different video / unrelated FYI: Husky has redesigned the ratcheting screwdriver we both have. Still same price. Still made in Taiwan. Some improvements: metal selector, pull out cap with a rod the bit cartridge is mounted on. Only downside no knurling on the shaft. But it’s annodized versus stainless so probably still grippy. Looked like slightly better fit and finish overall.

Tekton wrenches have a really nice finish... great priced tools.. I've been eyeballing Capri's ratcheting wrenches.... they're sharp too. ....

Man, I’ve been really liking the stuff Capri have been putting out as well. I believe the Capri ratcheting wrenchs have the “teeth” on the open end if that is a much for someone. Great review

Yeah, whatever. Do you know if Capri is going to make a flex head long handle 3/8" ratchet? I don't see one on their website. I'm in the market for one, and the prices seem comparable to Craftsman. I would like to give them a chance, since Sears quality has really gone down hill lately. All my Craftsman ratchets are USA made, I hope I don't break one. All in all, Capri seems to make excellent tools.

mdlee52 Why don't you do a review on the channellock do it best flex head ratcheting wrenches or their plain ratcheting wrenches that have the open end like the Capri ratcheting wrenches?
