Technically before kryptonians genetically modified themselves by genetically giving themselves the kryptonian based superpowers, they were basically human on a base human level, sure their internal organs may be different, but that tells you that can be done to a human. Now, seeing as humans had already evolved from a Yellow star and not a red star, how would it be different? Well think of the Extinct Saiyan race from DBZS franchise or Viltrumite race from Invincible comics, as it draws strong analogies for something not to dissimilar with modern day humans having what Homelander could only dream (MORE POWER!!!), at the same time they may be peaceful considering what human nature has gone through or there may also be conflicts like real life wars happening now but more gruesome due to being easily able to throw someone else, who's as powerful as you, into space for political, social, family feud, cultural, racial, or even obscure reasons. That's why the future is always better, we have a better society, better technology better communication and utilization of resources to handle this. 21st century earth humans aren't ready for this genetically tailored upgrade, but maybe 31st century earth humans, as that's theoretically likely when humans become a type 2 civ with no problems with energy/resources, communication, society, transportation & technology. So I ask this question, would you want Kryptonian powers, would you be able to handle it without derailing towards the wrong path as layed out?
