Programming Arduino Zero, MKR1000, or any SAMD21 Arduino via Registers

Thanks, I am trying to get a SAMD21 ADC to sample at 1Msps and was very confused by finding example Arduino code which used these Atmel ASF data structures without any mention of what they were! This has completely "cleared the fog" surrounding these mysterious statements containing -> symbols. I have subscribed. Please keep these videos coming.

I have been following and seeing your channel for learning AVR since last year and have gained insights from your code and explainations. 

Recently, I have been interested in SAMD chips however, it was hard to learn as not much learner friendly materials. If you keep producing a series of quality lectures like this video clip, I would very much appreciate it.

In addition, I already purchased a mkr1000 and nrf24 breakout boards from your online store.

Great video! Do you where to find the ASF page for the PM? I can't find it in the list on the ASF page (under datastructures) for the SAMD21.
This list seems to be missing a lot of things you show when scrolling through it in the video.

Excellent Video, this helps immensely in sorting though the registers. I am wondering if you have any opinion on whether it is easier or more advantageous to write code for this chip using Atmel Studio ASF vs. Arduino IDE, I would appreciate any feedback.

I don't own an Arduino MKR or Zero, but I'm still interested in knowing how to use it since recently an open-source industrial PLC using the SAMD21 chip came out. And I studied in industrial electronics stuff and I do stuff with Arduino.

Hi! I've currently go code for the Arduino Zero through the Arduino IDE. I now want to move to using only the SAMD21 chip off the Arduino. How would you recommend doing this? Do I have to transfer all my code to Atmel Studio (and transfer it over to register level) or is there a way to make use of the Arduino to code the chip using the Arduino libraries? Thank you!
