Some men are very comfortable with this, and are not about to change their cosy arrangements. They feel nothing about having a girlfriend or wife supporting them.

You ladies had better listen to this! I married a man who wanted me to move into his house after marriage and sell my
beautiful home. I moved in with him, but refused to sell my home. The marriage failed. He became extremely abusive after we married.
I was able to move back into my home which I had rented. I had to wait for two months for my tenant’s lease to expire.
No problem! I had my home intact! The marriage lasted a year and a half. I was able to easily go on with my life.

Mannnn I’m in tears because I’m going through this now. I allowed my man and his two kids to move in and he promised to help pay half of the bills and he has yet to pay one bill. Everything is in my name so I’m making sure I pay everything and keep up with the bills. Thank God I have a good job, where I can afford things. He trying to run the house as if he pays the bills. What money he does make he spends it on his kids sports. He also is very controlling…… I finally had enough, i told him we got to go separate ways and that I’m not happy. So he’s accusing me of cheating (to deflect the fact that he’s a bum). So the lease is up in June and I’m moving in my own place.
