Final Fantasy VIII - Fisherman's Horizon (Harp Solo)

Squall is one of my favorite FF characters. The entirety of FFVIII's greatest moments basically occur via his inner monologue. For instance, take the serene, pacifist community of Fisherman's Horizon. When Galbadian soldiers invade - soldiers led by a ruthless, homicidal sorceress who nearly just obliterated you with missile strikes - this philosophical scene occurs:

Mayor: I'll go talk to them.
Squall: (...He's dead).

Hope you enjoy this arrangement. My working title for this piece was "Pedal Hell."

Wow thank you so much for sending me back into time for a brief moment.
I was 14yo then coming home from school in the afternoon and playing this game while the rain was ticking on my window while hearing the FF themes for hours upon end. I really related in many ways to Squall even to this day. FF8 is still my favorite game of all time.
It brings pure moments of tranquility when I listen to this theme or like the Village of Dali theme etc.
