I don't have a problem with Trump making a profit off of selling a hotel. I have a problem with him getting a tax break for the years he was able to write this hotel off as a loss. The hotel may have lost money as a business. But it was good business for Trump. He used the hotel to do shady deals which he couldn't do in the White House. We will never know exactly how much money this hotel made for Trump.
