On a whim I did a small three option strategy on Rivian Friday centered around $10 strike price.

I made $14 on $33 collateral. It would have been $17 profit if I let it ride but I took profit early.

For these strategies you need to have special RH acc or brokrage approvals and own at least 100 shares of that stock. I can't do this on regular RH acc, it doesn't let me do custom or even 2 buys...

Hi Henry, On Palintir you stated the expiration date is 2 months out but you had a date of March 15th. Is that supposed to be March 15, 2025?

How do I execute this option as a whole? Just go to option and exercise my right to sell? How would I do that with the sells? I thought you could only exercise your right with buys

Dear Henry. In the first example I can follow your logic. 4 legs, equal distance for a sideways move. Right?
But then it seems random or even chaotic and I can't follow your logic anymore.
Would you be so kind and break each of the strategies down into their basic (!!!) logic? Please?
(expiration, bullish choose this, bearish choose that, distance to in and out of the money strike prices, how to set stop-loss, HOW TO CLOSE THE POSITIONS!)
That would be greatly helpful!

is the unrealised gain separate from the credit you get as the premium? or is unrealised gains the premium maturing into your actual winnings?
ie. are unrealised gains extra profits ontop of your premiums?

Lol I tried this today, because of you, a video you posted before, and AAL jumped up $0.79. Which I haven’t seen in the recent past. Crazy. Closed for a $20 loss. Expiration was 5/10
