Shout out to all the kind souls that would tap a soldier out if they didn’t have anyone to show up for them. I was that soldier. I did 4 deployments never had anyone show up for me and always felt so sad waiting. There was always a random mom or grandma ready to share some love. Always show up for your people, always!

Oh I can remember tapping my son out. What an amazing moment. I think many people don’t realize that there are so many family members that cannot join graduation. These young graduates standard attention until somebody comes and taps them out. Make sure you tap people out. I tapped several out and we took them out to dinner and went bowling. The sacrifice these young people make in so many ways is amazing. God bless you all

You know what’s the saddest part about this is? It’s not them getting reunited with their family. It’ s that some of these soldiers have to stand there and watch other families hug and talk but some don’t have any family that came so they just stand there and watch everyone else with their own families.

I saw this one time inrl and i saw my brother with tears falling from his eyes because his familly never came and i dont think he saw me but i tapped him out and he burst into tears❤this just goes to show how much it means to show up

I still remember my mom used to hug the soldiers who doesn't have a family 😭 they were so grateful to her and now one of that random soldier is my husband😅❤

Every time I see one of these videos, I can’t help but think about all of the poor kids who don’t have any family that’s gonna come tap them out. I always wondered how that works… What do they do? Just stand there while everyone around them is reunited with their families??
