I hope you're doing fine!

So, finally here's my FIRST contest!I've always wanted to host one but I didn't have any ideas.Recenetly though I came up with one and I decided to share it with YOU!

WHAT IS THE CONTEST ABOUT:
Ok, so I'm not very good at explaining but I'll do my best!
This contest is a bit different.It's not about adding tons of effects, following strictly the beats of a song, it's about the beauty, the funny side, the dark side of movies.So what do I want from you?You will have to make something like ... let's call it a "trailer" of your favorite movies.You can use movies only from 1 genre (e.g. you can make a video only with comedies, action movies, thrillers, dramas etc.) or you can add films which are completely differen (i.e. movies which are NOT from the same genre).It's YOUR choice!It's good to use at least 3 films as well as VOICEOVERS (they're very important) and NOT ONLY 1 SONG (e.g. you can make a video about romantic comedies and show their a) funny side using 1 song and their b) romantic side using another song).Put all of your emotions, love and show us that you really enjoy watching and vidding movies!

To sum up...

RULES: *UPDATED*
- Your video must be longer than a minute!
- You have to use AT LEAST 3 movies!
- It's good to use voiceovers.
- It's good to use more than 1 song but not necessarily (instrumentals are allowed).
- You CAN use overlays, effects etc. but that's not so important.
- You can enter more than 1 vid.
- The video doesn't have to be a new one.If you have made a video, that fits the contest, earlier you can participate with it!
- You can make a video which is a mix of movies made only from 1 director/which are part of the filmography only of 1 actor!
- You CANNOT use TV SHOWS!
- It doesn't matter if the movie is old or new.
- Render in HD!

DEADLINE:
August 15th (extended)

PRIZES:
To be honest, I haven't thought what they would be.There will be prizes though, don't worry, haha.

You can make your video simple, you can be as creative as you can.It's your choice!
Make us forget the world for a while!

Oh god this is so perfect!
I've been wanting to make a video inspired by those cinema/filmography videos here on youtube, so this competition was just perfect timing for me!

Thank you for having extended the deadline! I hope I'll be able to enter it cause the wire of my hard disc is broken and I won't be home before a while to fix it. But I'll do all what I can, cause it really is an amazing idea!

Well, I LOVE you for extending the deadline like you did...but I still wasn't able to enter. Work got mad and I spent the equivalent of three weeks by myself in a busy newsroom.
