Montenegro 2012 - The Mountain Roads (Mercedes G, Montenegro, Tara Rafting)

Mercedes Off Road Club trip to Montenegro in August 2012. For 2 weeks we visited 6 countries like Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Montenegro, Albania. Our main goal was to visit the mountains and the coast of Montenegro like Scepan Polje, Piva River, Durmitor National Park, Tara Rafting, Susicki Canyon, Zabljak, Plav, Podgorica, Utopia Island, Ulcinj, Bar, Petrovac, Sveti Stefan, Budva, Cetinje, Lovcen, Kotor, Herceg Novi. We drove 4500 km in our '91 Mercedes G.

31:49 the best view ever, I will never forget the moment the sea revealed itself to us after an amazing ride through the mountains...and of course 33:25....ahh so many memories...I will see this ride again someday in the future. Thanks so much for sharing. We didn't have much for a camera back then, so this clip helped :)

Montenegro is a beatiful country :) its a pitty that you didn't visit Lovćen, its a spectaluar place and the view out there is wooow ! But hey your video is awesome :) Thanks for sharing this with us !

Tak, do Czarnogóry chce się wracać, w szczególności w góry Durmitoru. W Ulcinj mogliśmy się zobaczyć - no ale kto wiedział, może następnym razem ;-) Pozdrawiamy również podróżników.

Peugeot 407 SW also was there :-) Road by canion Piva and from Piva to Durmitor is one of the most beautiful route I've ever been. And Ulcinj is my second home... I miss this place so much. Next year, next year :-)

We payed about 40 euro for person. But it was worth it - good inflatable boats, life vests, very responsible instructor and big dinner after 3 hours rafting. You can go cheaper and take rafting at BiH side, but I do not recommend. I was personally picking up floating beer in the river from the BiH rafting team that crashed at the rocks.

Super! But unfortunately, whole Susice canyon is now asphalted = you can drive there a limousine :-(
