Watching Ohtani pitching was good but watching Adell's fielding was terrible

From his last outing in ST I honestly didn't expect him to be this good on the opening day cause he has a tendency of overthrowing when he's too excited, but man he was so good!! I was gutted the offence couldn't give him any run support (including Shohei himself) but Valdez was just that good.

As an Astros fan I can say Ohtani is going to be a problem in this division for everybody. His fastball and slider mix are insane. Glad to get a hard fought win

Both Starters were AWESOME, breaking balls were working really well for them, it was great seeing Ohtani not afraid to go with his Fastball though, as he sometimes puts too much into it and over throws it! Ohtani is obviously other worldly talent but Framber Valdez is just criminally underrated.

Is it just me or did adell look absolutely horrendous in left field? Seemed like he misread every hit his way including the homer which looked very catchable. Not used to seeing MLB players react that badly in the outfield.

Great game! Framber was lights out! Back to Back jacks by Bregman & Alvarez! Defensively, Peña is looking good. Astros need to keep hitting and taking care of business on the mound. Let's go 'Stros.

Simple angels need to work the count, Valdez had an easy night and he didn't even want to come out of the game.
