Coming from someone who drives a 98 civic. This is exactly why I will always baby my vehicle. She deserves to be treated right. I’ve known people who go through a vehicle almost every year. Simply because they don’t want to put the work in to take care of their vehicles. I do a deep clean twice a year. Fall and spring, but also maintenance clean every couple weeks. Vaccume, dust. My car will be running still when I have kids. And I plan to put the same amount of care into my Honda Pilot when it comes time to upgrade.

Even if it wasn't entirely necessary, I feel as though, if you sprayed carpet dye on it could've boosted the price even slightly

Great work 👍. The interior was absolutely disgusting. I don't know how people can do that to their cars. You put a lot of time and effort into getting it clean

Biggest thing I find that helps in my flips are better pics/descriptions.
Often times they’re listed as “2005 civic. Runs/drives. $1000 cash”

And then when you get there you can see several new parts or things that can make it more attractive on the flip.
And i love the Cerakote Trim restore on my headlight restores!

Wow, what a transformation! Hard to believe people keep their car like that. Even older cars deserve better. And I believe the carpets are old school quality (thick), aren't they?

Great work. I own 98 and 2005 civics. Amazing daily driven cars.

Never gonna understand why people let the cars like this "oh, some fries fell out, nothing happened "

Don't forget to add in all the loose change under the seats!😂😂😂 I can't believe the transformation of those carpets!!! Great job!!

That was very pleasant to watch! Amazing flip you did. That oxy clean breaking down the organic stuff and grease really did some great work. Love the transformation. I wish we had both Oxy clean and flex ice here in Canada. Amazing transformation all in all James!

I bought my first car which was a 02’ odyssey and it was $1500, thankfully the previous owners got it detailed for me

Try a combo of vinegar, dawn dish soap and baking soda for the oily greasy floors then hit with the extractor.

Those Honda interiors hold up well. Aside from the carpeting the rest of the interior looks to be in great condition.

I'm a mechanic who also paints and restores cars, since i know everything i need about cleaning and stripping car interiors, one thing i never understood about professional detailers is why after so much work they don't remove the carpet and they insist on cleaning what i would have lit up in flames, the labor involved wouldn't be cheaper than a carpet pulled from the scrapyard that can be as low as 20$ and wouldn't look better than one either after the customer pays hundreds for an interior detailing. I've made many times the proposal of swapping a carpet for cheap and getting new insulation pads but never a detailer who gets a high price to clean something that needs to go. Another time there was a steering rack seal leak under the dash and after this extensive cleaning the car had a bold oil scent after citronella faded away, turned out when i pulled the carpet it had the insulation pads soaked into a huge oil pool. I've seen many cars shining and smelling fresh after an expensive detail to the extend of removing seats, etc and if you pull the door sill trim you'll find damp insulation pads, mold growing from underneath or behind the door panels, and a whole bucket of dust and debris that eventually starts coming out.
I don't talk specifically for the video poster where this car is his and wanted to flip it, but i see people run a business where swapping things for cheap would be more profitable and less labor intensive than getting money to deliver a hidden swamp with lemon cologne to whoever pays the price.

Cuando la limpieza en una alfombra no es suficiente lo mejor es teñirla y queda genial! Excelente trabajo amigo!

I can only imagine how awesome that car smelled afterwards from just using the mint shine. Great job. 👊
