If you color anyone ones hair again you leave the roots alone because lightener goes faster when there is heat and the head is hot. So you do about an inch down from the root first and then do up top after the bottom has had time to process. Also, a toner likely won’t do all that much on the hair since it hasn’t been. Lightened all that much. It might help a little though!
