The Architect said, "Your five predecessors were, by design, based on a similar predication: a contingent affirmation that was meant to create a profound attachment to the rest of your species, facilitating the function of the One." It sounds like the carriers of the integral anomaly are intentionally designed and created when necessary. The anomaly emerges and the One carries it, having been designed to perform that function. If true, this implies that the anomaly could be carried by another if Neo failed to return it to the source.

It seems like anomaly carriers are prevented from dying until they've fulfilled their function. Neo couldn't die, and neither could the overwritten Smith. Interestingly, Neo prevented Trinity from dying, possibly making her an anomaly carrier. Since we don't know how much of the red pill's brains are cybernetic, it could be that they're entirely so, meaning Trinity could have been kept alive after her body's death, compelled to disobey the order to shut down.

I would hope that in the next film, the 'humans as batteries' concept is corrected back to the original idea of 'humans as organic computers'. There is no point in having humans as power sources, as the machines could have grown cows or sheep to do the job. Or create humans without a neocortex, so no Matrix would be required. Or build enough nuclear reactors to provide all the power the machines need. The only premise for the whole trilogy, that makes sense to me, is that the machines did not want to exterminate humanity; they wanted to control humanity and use their brains as computers to serve the machine society. In this sense, the machines are more civilized than humans, in that they want to preserve humanity, while also removing it as a threat to the machines. In 2021, humans are willing and able to exterminate ourselves and most life on Earth, using nuclear weapons.

What do you think about this. I believe that the Oracle planned change in the matrix because she wanted sati to become more powerful. To me the Oracle had wanted Neo to go up against Smith. And when Smith came back Andrew assimilated the Oracle, Sati got everyone's ability. What are your thoughts Matrix Explained?

I think the Oracle have a secret agenda of becoming more powerful, or even to become the only ruler/new Architect/the Architect of the next Matrix and I think that's why Sati is so important to her (she wants Sati to be the (un)balancing part in the upcoming "new equation", equation where the Oracle replaces the "current" Architect, or maybe Sati replacing the Architect and the Oracle stays in the same role?). The Oracle mentioned that the Architect is unable to see beyond choices - to me it sounded like she's implying he's getting old, maybe even useless. She doesn't seem to fully trust him (double checking his promise of letting people free). Smith could have also been just a tool in Oracle's hands to send a message (to who?) that says: if the whole Matrix got nearly destroyed by a single virus, the current Architect and his equation is extremely risky/weak/unstable. So after the Paradise Matrix, Nightmare Matrix and 4 iterations of Illusion Of Choice Matrix, it's time for the Real Choice (those who are willing to leave, will leave) Matrix with the Oracle and Sati ruling the equation? Hmmm... the Architect as an exile In Matrix 4 would be a bomb! xD

The Oracle came up with the answer of the soul's to have a free choose in the reincarnation of life times, and the kiss was the change to the PATH the Ones were on.
It changed the equation by the meeting of Trinity and Neo

I thought the Oracle was supposed to be "evil". Obviously her changing the equation actually saved Zion this time. If she did nothing Neo would have gone to the source just like he always did in the past.

It's been speculated that Neil Patrick Harris is playing the Matrix Online character The General. This character was the lead sentinel on the attack on Zion -- he is briefly seen in the movie as a larger sentinel leading the hoard of sentinels to Zion.

The General was upset that Zion wasn't destroyed. So he exiles to the Matrix with other sentinels to try to restart the war with humans.

So the drama unfolding in the Matrix universe is the result of the equation being altered -- those who are against change use extremism to restore the previous order. The General represents militarism and nationalism.

Why did the oracle decide to go rogue? Its obvious she knew what to do to break the cycle. Did she manipulate neo and trinity to fall in love? How did the other anomalies learn to harness their abilities? If it was in the same way how come only the 6th caused an agent to be corrupted and go rogue?

So since this is the cycle with most variable changes, and Smith being the "anti-one", that must mean that current One (Neo) is the strongest One ever since it "caused" Smith.

I think it will be like the Endless war from Endless Space lore: Corporeal ones vs Virtual Ones, this means that Humanity will war itself, the ones who want to live in the matrix and the ones who want to live in the real world and in the middle ground will be the machines thinking about if help one side or just destroy all humanity once for all.

Remember, the oracle "predicted" that trinity would fall in love with the one. With the previous realization that food programming can affect humans, the oracle probably gave her something to incite that connection, similar to neo's cookie in matrix 1, so the events were more planned and expected than you made out, at least to the oracle. The oracle was playing with variables, but she had an idea and a goal for the outcome, clearly, even if she didn't tell the architect everything.
