One of the longest running Northern Soul venues in the UK, spanning over 40 years, opening it's doors to Northern Soul in 1971. Xmas All Dayer Sunday December 20th 12 Midday to 8pm. £8 on the door on the day.
The Leeds Central Soul Club All Dayers are staged on the 3rd week Bi-Monthly at the 'HiFi' club, 2 Central Road, Leeds LS1 6DE.

I used to
love the allnighters at The Central. It was the Ist allnighter I ever went to. A whole bunch of us from Cambridge used to drive up (in my mate Giovanni's. works welding van}. It had an edgy atmosphere, which made it even more exiting.I was only 15, and I remember seeing a black guy with a tattoo (Major Lance) on his arm, that was another first for me!.And the Sounds were TOO MUCH.

I used to love the Central, if we didn't have a lift we used to get the last train back to Bradford which was the parcel train. 6.34 looks like Eric who used to go out with Bev Cooney.
