1st time was 2021 last year for me. All I can say is I'm a 35 year old man, day 3 during the fireworks and Opus is the 1st time I've ever cried tears of joy. Amazing!

My first EDC was last year 2021. I went dress up as a female, opposite of my assigned gender ( first time in public ). Day 2, during Tiestos set, I had a moment where i knew, this is who i was always ment to be. Ive wanted to transition for 12+ years, and after 3 days of a half million smiling faces cheering me on, It gave me the confidence to finally walk through that door! Now, im 2 months into my transition ( on hormones ), living every day as a female and ive never felt more like myself in my entire life!!!!

Thank you EDC! You truly changed my life

When I started going out to edm shows I was a very nervous person. I thought I wouldn't fit in but the electronic music community showed me that you can be as weird and spontaneous as you want. Going to shows changed my life and I've met soooo many amazing people who I still stay in contact with. Its sad that a lot of the world frowns upon raving and festivals. We're just the weird kids who never fit into normal society and we just want to dance like idiots ! Much love and PLUR to all the rave fam out there. Im so happy you're here 😁

I went solo for the first time last year and it was so incredibly healing for me, it made me feel so strong and I finally felt at peace “alone” for the first time in my life! I am never alone, I have a family all around me!

Getting old sucks but EDC lets you get back in touch with your inner child and meet other beautiful children in the universe and celebrate love, life, and laughter through dance and music! I was a virgin in 2013 and this is my second time. Can’t wait to see all the wonderful people out there and strut my stuff!

I'm 60 and my 61st birthday is on opening day this year - May 20! This trailer really moved me, because it IS such an accepting welcoming wonderful community that WE have built. We truly have all Found a Home in the Arms of Music! Thanks Pasquale, thanks fellow ravers and headliners - see you in Vegas, baby!

Oh man.. the nostalgia.. and the kaskade remix of haunt me?!! Dayum making me want to go to EDC again.. haven't been since the 20th anniversary.. had sooo much fun back then when I was in the scene.. I had my time going to many venues but I do want to take my husband in the future so we can experience the lovely madness together. ❤

This will be my first year going to EDC. I'm going to just listen to great music, enjoy the light shows but never really though that some people might be going to feel that escape, connection and acceptance of their fellow human. This trailer has changed my entire mindset heading into EDC.

This is so relatable! I was a blind individual since birth who always had an eye for music. I have faced hardships and challenges throughout my life, as I had to learn to use tools such as a white cane and screen readers to help me succeed in school. I also rely on braille and am able to read and write with it fluently. But as a little kid, I was stubborn and didn't want to touch anything. But thanks to my amazing preschool teachers, I am now much more comfortable exploring and touching things than I was back then. Despite so much progress, however, I still had trouble making friends. There were people I wanted to befriend that didn't like me very much, and would avoid me as much as possible. I was always wild and crazy, and basically nobody liked that... so naturally, I was pretty lonely. On the flipside, however, I was also blessed with a lovely singing voice that I hope will carry me through life's twists and turns, along with the exciting builds and drops of EDM. Thanks to my love for EDM, I'm starting to learn how to use Logic Pro, which is a DAW I've been recommended to use by several people I used to know. Before starting to learn Logic Pro, I was the odd one out, using GarageBand for my music-based projects. It's wonderful just how vast the EDM community really is, and it's a home I've not found with any other music genre I was ever into before. Even without my vision and without the pictures reflecting through my eyes, I have loved and enjoyed EDM and hope to go to EDC VERY soon. I'm still 17 years old, but I'll hopefully be there next year!
Everyone here is special in their own way. Don't let others tell you who you really are.

First edc was 2010 back in LA. I've been going back home ever since. The community, the music, the production, the love. Everything about it is amazing. 37 more days till we're home

My first EDC was in 2017, at 40, 18 years after my very first rave back in 1999. We went again in 2018 & 2019. I couldn't believe how incredible the "new" rave looked. I stood there in awe and took in all the sounds, lights, and people. I don't know if I could say it was as PLUR as it was back in the late 90s but it was definitely a sight to behold and something to experience.

This is the single most Greatest experience I have ever had. If you are skeptical, like I was at first, just GO. Your mind will Be Blown. And you'll never forget how amazing this event is.

Nice job with inclusiveness. I was there in 1999 with a record turnout of 10, 000. This was the original vibe that those in the video speak of!
