My review of the Husqvarna 120 Mark II chainsaw. This is a discussion about the saw, and the problems it has right out of the box. Looking back, I probably should have listened to the other reviews around the web.... Check it out!

If it came right out of the box with all the issues you have, you should return it. Did it come assembled (was the bar installed) or did you have to do it yourself? If you did then I'll have to say that you didn't put it on properly. In my case, it came assembled. Out of the box it ran perfectly. I had none of the issues like the ones you have. As others have stated, it is a good saw.

Is it the saw that's "partially defective" or the operator?

I have the same problem right from the box. I've never had an issue with other Husqvarna. I returned two days later.

Sounds like you need to sell the saw and call a tree service. You have the clutch cover on wrong... Super easy to take off and fix. Learn how to work on your tools...

I dont think u put the cover on right when u put on the chain, it needs to be run in, it's a good saw

i just bought one of these myself and just like you had similar problems took it to the warrenty repairman and he said " It's the cheapest name brand saw he's ever seen and they are notorious for leaking that there nothing you can do. If you want one that doesn't leak get the 450 rancher."

The spot you put your thumb at 3:01 has a cog being the cover that needs to go into the groove of your chain break guard. Get this in place and your chain break will work correctly and the cover will go on all the way. Booya!

I purchased this saw after my old Dayton died. It ran like a champ for 20 minutes and two small gray birch. I went to start it two months later and the starter/pull cord stripped. I took it off and was astonished at how cheap the design is. I’ll go buy a Stihl…there stuff isn’t extraordinary but it’s not THIS cheap.

Bought this saw recently. Had all the problems this guy had. Unfortunately this saw will cut like a bada$$. But you have to adjust the carb yourself. Or take it to someone. It also did spill out lots of bar oil on me as well. That is adjusted by the tension on your bar nuts. I will saw this. If you get this little saw figured out. It will cut like a champ

I bought two of these at the same time. They were relatively inexpensive and as they had a good name, I thought I would give them a try for light work. Wish I hadn't. Both have had running problems and weird vibration issues from the get go. I wont buy Husqvarna again! I have c 9 Stihl saws which are just great.

Same exact problem! I was proud to buy one of these and it's junk. I got maybe 40 min out of it

Do you take your Jurassic park jeep out when you cut your woodies?

Have you talked to the store you bought it from. It seems you simply got a defective unit.

What happened if the spark plug wet on fuel? How can I fix.?😊

From what I can see, you haven't put the casing together properly or haven't adjusted the amount of bar oil that comes out. You do know you have to make these adjustments on a new saw, there not dialed in out of the box??? I've got the same saw, adjusted the idle and oil and it runs like a dream. It is a well built saw.

From everything you described it's clear that the Flux Capacitors are out of alignment!

from new zealand i have one of these same bogging issue so i will re-tune the low idle screw and chk high end to see that its about right. ok ya cover doesint look on properly. as for oil you want to run out of fuel just before you run out of oil per full tanks at same time. husky is a very good saw ive used both sthil and husky in my many yrs of logging and there is no clear winner the both have pros and cons

Same her, saw is running perfect but to much oil is running through the system. I will ask seller if refund is possible, i get my money and he gets his chainsaw back. its like 5 days old now.

You do know that the oiler is adjustable don't you? Open the manual it's there. Good luck with the saw! Post if you do find the solutions, that would be great!
