CiViQ: Quantum Key Distribution to secure our communications

The CiViQ project opens a radically novel avenue towards flexible and cost-effective integration of quantum communication technologies, as quantum key distribution (QKD), into emerging optical telecommunication networks. The project focuses on advancing both the QKD technology itself and the emerging “software network”, with the aim of making it a mainstream technology for telecom networks, industry and institutions at large scale.
