The KA-52 has one of the most advanced active counter measure system, it can jam and even shift incoming missiles off its path, once KA-52 was documented deflecting a combination of 18 Stinger and Iglas manpads in 1 mission in the donbas in 2023.

I think ka52 is only the helicopter which has an ejection seat for the pilots and can fly away even if its tail is destroyed.

The ODS (onboard defense system) of KA-52 detects missile launches in the vicinity and triggers an alarm and automatically dispense flares with very short reaction time. It also have laser warning system to help evading laser guided weapons and radar warning receiver (RWR). If employed properly, these features highly increases its survivability. Probably the best combat helicopter out there nowadays

Acoording to what I read, the pilot said he "Saw the missile with his own eyes, and maneuvered as quick as possible to try to avoid being hit"
