I LOVE the fact that the ambient sounds are produced by the blocks themselves. This way, players can basically *bring the sounds with them*! If you want creepy sounds in a build, you can *put the sounds there*! This is amazing!

Villagers named "15" should be immediately targeted by any nearby creakings. As a reference to villager news in mc live

I wish the creaking turned into an invulnerable "statue" during the day and turned back to its living form during night. It would be really cool.

Exciting! The new ambience mechanics are gonna be so used for pranks lol

The creaking mob looks awesome but I feel like it should deal more damage.

I didn't know Illagers were afraid of the Creaking. That's actually really cool, and makes sense since Illagers would be scared of anything living in the spooky Forest next to their spooky Forest.

I think Skeletons should be the only other hostile mob that spawns in Pale Garden replacing all the Zombies, Creepers and Spiders that spawns in it, to keep the grey aesthetic and to make the biome feel more unique.

Also please make the Hanging Moss and even Moss Carpets only obtainable by using shears and hoes respectively, they are both very easy to break and hit then becomes unnecessary inventory clutter.

Villagers should also be afraid of Creaking since Illagers (a more battle-hardened version of them) are afraid of them.

Ok now the pale garden similarities to the dark forest make sense. I like that actually! Makes the future of biome variants OH so interesting.

I hope this biome gets some thick fog. That would make it look great

I like this drop. It doesnt add that many things with uses(some pretty cool wood tho) but it adds texture to the world which i appreciate. Its a lot like the mushroom island in that way, only a couple features you can really use, but it makes the world more interesting. Makes it more than just a infinite series of pretty cool but still normal biomes with something strange. I like the sculk for the same reason really, it just adds something truely strange to the world.

I love more ambience sounds being added as it really adds to the immersion, hopefully more like wind, waves, waterfalls and birds etc are being explored. Keeping tints of leaves is really nice too, I want all the season colours to decorate with as dynamic seasonal foliage colours has always been a big wish for me. Keep up the great work!

I like the drop so far, but it definitely feels a bit half baked in some regards. Mainly, the fact you really don't need to go there at night at all. You can really just go during the day and avoid dealing with the Creaking entirely, while still getting every item in the biome. There's also a lack of vegetation for a garden. I looked through the comments and thought some of my own aswell for feature ideas.

Easiest Changes:
- Fog would really help with the atmosphere
- Creaking should deal more damage (3 hearts on Hard Mode?)

Features:
- White Pumpkins, the Minecraft Story Mode fan in me saw this biome and thought it would be the perfect opportunity. Maybe it grows when using Bone Meal on Pale Moss, like how Azaleas grow on regular Moss. It could also only grow at nighttime to further incentivize interacting with the Creaking.
- Activated Creaking Hearts can act as a Redstone component, when a player in range looks at it, it causes a block update which can be read by a Observer/Comparator, functioning as a sight detector. Naturally spawning Creaking Hearts can not be mined and gathered during the day since the Creaking is dormant. This doesn't apply to player placed Creaking Hearts. (Credit to @mothaclysm)
- Large Orange Mushrooms can be found in the Pale Garden, they'd glow similar to the Glow Squids without emitting light. And would blend in with the eyes of the Creaking. (Credit to @Laff700)

I don't think the drop needs ALL of these features to be good or anything, but if I were to pick just one. I'd honestly want the White Pumpkin the most.

other mobs being scared of the creaking is a nice detail it's probably have a lore behind it

It should deal more damage! Or maybe it scales depending on what difficulty you're on. It would also be cool if lore-wise the whole biome was an experiment gone wrong by the illagers. Like maybe they were trying to recreate the warden or something and the breaking is what resulted

You guys need to add glowing orange tree mushrooms to the pale garden which look like the Creaking's eyes. That way players will be unsure if they're looking at a Creaking or those mushrooms. I feel the mushrooms would match the theme well. Such tree mushrooms also exist in real life.

EDIT: Also allow Creakings to persist in the dark please, not just at night! Maybe change the requirement to no sunlight?

i hope it's damage is buffed to 3, still have room for mistakes but amplifies how much you'll be wanting to break all the hearts (alot of hearts seem to generate so you'll probably have multiple on you at all times)
also i want Sight Sensor. (emits redstone when you look in a 3-45 angle at it, angle is determined by how much signal is coming in from the front)

other than that, very pretty biome and very cool mob

I love how the creaking is just an avatar for the heart, its honestly so cool. Also i think the grey particles (lore wise) when hitting it are the parts of the creaking chipped off returning to the heart while the orange particles are like energy or nutrients to sustain the body being given to it by the heart which explains its invulnerability

The main feedbacks as of now are "Add fog", "Creaking not dealing enough damage to be something to worry about" and "Add more vegetation".

Let's see how many of these will happen as the snapshots go :D

Im not sure if this is the best place to give feedback but since I dont know where else to post it here I go
I know this is the first snapshot but personally I think the creaking should do more damage, 1 heart with no armor is way too low, I think even an unenchanted diamond armor would negate that damage
Also since this is an eerie biome it should have some kind of flora that gives you the blindness effect or at the very least make the creaking give you that effect when it hits you
The creaking should also be faster, currently it is way too slow that you can easily outrun it while sprinting, another way to fix this issue would be making the tree generation similar to mangrove trees, so that the terrain is difficult to move on while escaping the creaking, but this can also backfire making the creaking get stuck in the terrain
And this is more of a personal opinion rather than feedback but with how the biome currently looks it should be called "Pale Forest" instead of "Pale Garden" since there are no flowers to be seen, only trees
And adding some fog would also benefit the biome

I think the creaking should drop xp, since it counts as a hostile mob kill. Very excited for pale garden's final version, I think the wood is cool and the creaking is an interesting and well designed mob!
