I’m surprised you didn’t go more into the actual charity fundraiser/ARG. We got a bunch of hidden previews of battles and characters for chapter 3, surrounded by lore for Deltarunes characters. And at the end donators got a chance to “free” or “silence” spamton. The ending of the spamton sweepstakes stream is actually the good ending because we decided to free spamton, we don’t know what the bad ending woudve looked like, or if this choice in the charity stream will impact Spamtons role in the rest of the game!

Another notable thing about this event is the lead up on the rtvs crew’s side, they did a squad stream where if you watched all the streams at once there were hidden messages. Stuff like “a world of string” or “Ethan duff, reset tape.” One member even had a joke stream that wasn’t part of the squad stream as a red herring. At the end of the squad stream, a link appeared on the screen, which then directed viewers to spamton sweepstakes. There was no prior announcement of rtvs being a part of spamton sweepstakes

The works of Toby Fox have completely changed a generation, From the pope listening to megalovania and getting a copy of undertale from Matpat, to thousands of content creators making their names (and their carriers) known in and outside of the comunity, an example is this insane group project which is very wholesome and just amazing, it's like Nutdealer is a creative outlet for humanity. The Spamton Sweepstakes was the funnest internet live event I've ever participated in. Not mentioned in this video was the actual donation process and auction where the more people donated the more wild prizes would be revealed. You could also leave donation comments that would appear on the site which most ranged from "Donate to the [little guys]" to "I want to slam a milk logged spamton against the wall". In the final hours of the charity you could either vote to free or ti kill spamton which led to a wild increase in donations between people who wanted the little big shot to roam free and those who wanted to shove him into a meat grinder.
Literally the best online expression ever.
